These delicious chicken flavoured chips are from Grandma’s crispy roast chickan recipe, from a time before spell check.

Description

Winner – ‘Chip with the best indoor/outdoor flow’ at the 1976 finger snack & dip awards.

Legend has it Snacka Changi chips first hit the chip scene way back in 1649… but in breaking news we have finally replicated Grandma’s long lost crispy roast chicken recipe. This wasn’t easy to do as Grandma committed the recipe to memory, and her advancing years meant we had to sit through her recalling a corned beef, two date scone, and countless pikelet recipes before we hit the jackpot. Incidentally, some of those flavours may come out at a later date, so look out for them. This recipe was from a time when the whole family would sit around the table and enjoy a Sunday roast together, so why not take a step back in time, and enjoy a pack or two of ‘Chickan’ chips with your family.

Apologies once again for the massive typo with the spelling of ‘Chicken’, this recipe is from a simpler time before computers with spell check, and we were in rush to get this flavour to you.

Chunky. Crunchy. Crispy. Brass kettle Fried. Corrugated chips! Tension rating 185 PCI (Pounds per Chip Inch) – Snacka Changi Chips are ‘dip tested’ to destruction in real worlds conditions using the firmest dips. • Est. 1649, The process – Each Snacka Changi chip is hand-reared from free range super potatoes, which are descended from the super potatoes first discovered at Machu Picchu in Peru – no caged potatoes are used! They are gently peeled left to right, then rapidly sliced right to left. Only the chips with the best attitude will enter the Crinkanhopper 3000, the machine that gives Snacka Changi 20 percent more corrugation than regular chips or size 34 corduroy pants. Snacka Changi then enter Uncle Kenny’s brass kettle one at a time, where they are gently fried, then taste tested not once, not twice but thrice before being whacked up to 1000 for maximum crisp and crunch!
