New Zealand’s first Sloe Gin is made barrel by barrel in the traditional way. The finest sloe berries are steeped in Curiosity Gin for several months in a barrel that was previously used to age Otago Pinot Noir Wine.
Sweetened with natural sugar before bottling, the resulting liqueur is a luscious red colour and exhibits the intense plum and marzipan flavours of a classic Sloe Gin with an added back note of the fruity Otago Pinot from the wine barrel in which it was made.
Perfect as a traditional winter warmer straight up or in a mulled drink. It is also fabulously refreshing in a long drink with Tonic, as a Sloe Gin Fizz or with Champagne as a Sloe Gin Royale making it the perfect drink summer or winter.
